Transportation by Air

Dalaman Airport, the closest airport, is used to reach Marmaris by air. Domestic and international flights are organized at Dalaman Airport, which is approximately 95 kilometers away from Marmaris town centre. After Dalaman Airport, which has direct flights from many cities in Turkey, you can use HAVAŞ shuttles, taxi or car rental services to reach Marmaris.

Transportation by Bus

For transportation to Marmaris by bus, there are bus companies that organize trips from almost all provinces of Turkey. While flights from some provinces reach Marmaris bus terminal, some flights reach Muğla bus terminal. Minibuses departing every half hour are used to reach Marmaris from Muğla bus station.

There are generally three main road connections to Marmaris, which can be reached by private vehicle from all regions of Turkey. During journeys from the Central Anatolia region, the direction of Afyonkarahisar, Uşak and Muğla is followed. For journeys from the Aegean region, take the Aydın turnoff from the Izmir ring road and follow the Muğla direction. For journeys from the Marmara region, the Bursa, Balıkesir, İzmir and Muğla route is used.
